Bunka Fashion College was founded in 1923 as Japan’s first school for clothing educational institute and continues to play a significant role in fashion education. Its original, specialized and practical curriculum adapts to the changes in a diversified industry. Cultivating fashion professionals who are ready to succeed in today’s fashion industry. The number of alumni has surpassed 300,000 over the course of its nearing century operation. Creative Design (Advanced Diploma)
The fashion industry depends on individuals with expertise among the various stages of apparel process. Over four years, students are exposed to all areas from concept, design development, garment construction through to presenting their creations to the fashion market. While students attain knowledge required to better understand the journey of a fashion product they hone their creative talents and practical skills towards building a specialism.
Global Fashion Business (Advanced Diploma)
The fast-paced global fashion industry requires highly innovative individuals to drive fashion branding and communication. Students will gain practical skills which enables them to understand how best to connect fashion products to consumers. Over the course of four years, students will foster skills to build new business ideas while acquiring a sense of the global fashion industry through live collaborations and internships.
