I come from the experimental class of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. I have a strong interest in traditional crafts around the world, and devote myself to studying the innovation of traditional crafts and their combination with modern clothing. I'm proud of my style,also proud of my hands-on skills. I hope that I can continue my research in my future study and work, and let more people know some small groups of traditional handicrafts in the world through their combination with clothing
INSPIRATION
Stories about jungles and concrete jungles.
My inspiration comes from a kind of architectural system named "Vertical Forest", which intercepts the jungles of nature into the concrete jungle in which we live. In the early days of civilization, we built cities by destroying jungles, and now we're planting jungles in cities. Living in such a city, I want to tell you the stories happens outside my window.Since there are only three seasons to see plants in my hometown, My story is also about these three seasons.
The inspiration of my craft comes from the traditional weaving craft. As a person who is very interested in traditional culture, I have been devoted to studying the innovation and application of traditional craft in clothing around the world. After learning and understanding the traditional weaving technology, I tried to use weaving to imitate the growing state of plants outside the window in modern architecture.

Matching shoes with woven details
The three sets of clothes in the series are all hand-knitted by me. The cotton thread knitting part is the main body of simulating the form of plants. Each piece of clothes has its big trend of weaving part. Knitted flowers and leaves form a transition between the woven part and the base garment part. When choosing color, I match color according to the season set by each suit of clothes, such as the spring when the color is fresh and tender and everything grows, the summer when the sun is strong and the leaves shine with dazzling white light, and the winter when the fruits are numerous but the feeling of powerless is close to winter. At the same time, I made matching shoes for each outfit, using plastic flowers and leaves with the same woven pieces.
