I'm Wenxin Tan, graduate from Ravensbourne university
I am Wenxin Tan（Milly） from China, a Fashion Accessories graduate from Ravensbourne university. During my studies I never had a long-term plan, I always took one step at a time and lived in the moment. Of course, I think this is bad and I want to change, starting tomorrow?
I have been studying in UK since year nine.During art foundation year, my tutor supported me and got me interested in art. During that time, the school would also organise exhibitions and take us to London to see the work of some artists.There was a Japanese artist called Chiharu Shiota and I really liked her work, the thousands of lines that formed the artwork, which made you think about the charm of art. One of my works at the time was a hand-woven dress made from red thread. I think that was my first 'work' into the art world. At that time I I had a vision and aspirations for London.
INSPIRATION
Playful body - say "NO" to body shame and be confidence
The inspiration is related with the contort. Contortionist performers were very soft in their own body structure, but they didn't let this 'flaw' stop them from giving up on themselves. They have chosen a profession that suits them, where they can perform and show off their soft bodies, exuding light and confidence. This 'flaw' becomes a light of gold.
The other inspiration was came from Hussein chalayan's sadler wells, which were presented to me, I realized what I was looking for. The super stretchy fabric was stretched to the limit and the resulting effect was stunning. Therefore, the collection is presented by pulling or twisting the shapes.The collection is for people who are brave enough to accept their flaws, who don't feel inferior because of them, but who accept and show their imperfections graciously and confidently.

The main point of the design was how to stretch or twist the wearer's body to the maximum. So the materials used are super stretchy fabrics on all sides, as the stretchy fabrics are soft and very stretchy to fit the wearer's body, thus allowing the collection to be displayed perfectly.
