About Me

Hi, I'm Viktoria and I'm a Fashion Promotion Graduate from MFI.

Born in Hungary, Viktoria moved to the UK to pursue a degree and to explore better opportunities in the fashion industry. Her interest in trend forecast and circular fashion were the main leads in her final project, but the visual inspiration and design development were influenced largely where everything started – home.

I’m constantly inspired by my surroundings and it has shown a changing effect on my creativity. I have lived on two different continents through my studies and have seen a wide variety of cultures, from the UK to Asia. I'm privileged enough that I was able to observe the changes in trends and how style and fashion adapt, let it be due to location or up-and-coming trends. My message is to prove fast fashion is not the answer to seasonal trends. As people, we always going through changes and with it our styles as well to represent our personality, but not at the expense of the environment.

INSPIRATION

There is always an ideal aesthetic people look for when they are trying to figure out how to dress.

Every year there is a new must-have in my friend’s wardrobe without a miss. The return of hair clips or the increasing popularity of corsets, it’s always connected to a new emerging trend. It’s something new, different, experimental – it’s fun. However, they won’t have the disposable income to invest in ethical pieces when they are trying to experiment with their styles. There is also an inventory limit when it comes to local vintage stores, therefore they often turn to what is easy and accessible.

Considered the current climate, it was no question that it cannot be only about the product, it needed to be an experience and an opportunity to connect with others over a shared interest. Through my research I have concluded that considering many factors from mainstream media, television, print, and runway presentation, the term” Regencycore” will be the one to dominate over the summer. I aimed to create a campaign that is current and answer to both fantasy and modern styling.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

It’s about responding to the customer’s interest - when demand changes, so does the brand with it.

While there are brands that provide personally styled boxes and others that sell vintage and second-hand clothing, there is yet to be one that combines both. To support circular fashion, Szuvenir would allow customers to stay up to date with the current trend without supporting the fast fashion movement. The offer is to ensure customers that they are being ethical and sustainable while still making sure they can partake in and enjoy different aesthetics. It is also an experience, as it is personalised to the consumer’s likes and style precisely. The brand needs to keep up with trends and amend the themes of the boxes quickly if a new trend emerges. In a unique aspect, to promote the brand anyone who purchases a curated box will receive membership to a private community portal where members can discuss news, style tips, take part in exchanges, digital events and receive exclusive offers.

Creative since the age of five but now I have the qualifications to prove that my passion is creating visual content, from styling to photography but not excluding art direction and graphic design.
