I’m a visual storyteller specialising in fashion communication, creative direction, styling, and visual language. I craft narratives that merge aesthetic vision with cultural meaning, using fashion and multimedia to amplify diverse voices and share personal stories through each individual’s unique lens.
My creative practice centres on identity, community, equity, and cultural understanding. I approach each project with curiosity and care, aiming to foster empathy and inspire change through inclusive, narrative-driven work. My final major project, ZĂťNI, explored themes of culture, heritage, and belonging, reflecting my dedication to socially engaged storytelling. I strive to create work that not only reflects the world around us but actively contributes to a more compassionate and equitable future.
INSPIRATION
We live in a time of cultural shift, where societies and communities are reshaped by increasing diversity, yet deep-rooted inequalities persist. Growing up in culturally uniform Iceland and later moving to the UK provided me with contrasting perspectives on identity and belonging. These personal experiences became the foundation for ZĂťNI, a project born from a desire to explore and respond to these evolving dynamics.
ZĂťNI is my creative response to a world that often excludes or overlooks marginalised voices. Through storytelling, fashion, and visual direction, it explores identity, celebrates cultural richness, and calls for equity, particularly within the fashion industry. At its core, ZĂťNI is a call for empathy, visibility, and meaningful change, amplifying diverse narratives and reimagining a future where difference is genuinely valued.
DETAIL
This fashion film is part of a collaborative live brief with Dr. Martens, reimagining the brand’s six-decade connection to music for a new generation. At the heart of the project are six individuals, authentically cast to reflect diverse identities, backgrounds, and creative voices, all sharing their unique relationship with music. Their stories celebrate individuality, rebellion, and the unifying power of sound. Visually bold and emotionally honest, the film honours Dr. Martens’ iconic legacy while embracing an inclusive, modern vision of youth culture.
