Hi, I am Tara a graduate from Bath Spa University
I have always had an interest for styling and putting looks together, which has always been a big part of my design process.
Often influenced by art including performance art, street art of bright coloured, clashing and deconstructive aesthetic contrasted with delicacy, beauty and sexuality.
INSPIRATION
Multiple Hazard'z = The 'New Normal Personality'
A hybrid street-style capsule collection exploring the idea of multiple personalities in one person including the different states of mind and overcoming these mental struggles. Fashion allows us to walk through different possibilities as it is integrated into our sense of self. Our clothing projects our emotions and exposes potential vulnerabilities, but it also allows us to have control in determining how we are perceived by others in an ever-changing world.
I am creating a collection that represents all people together, united by strengths and weaknesses from all aspects of life who have diverse perspectives focussing on human connection, not differences. This is to challenge what society believes to be the 'normal' female personality and 'normal' mental health; in order to spread awareness of these subjects.

I created digital fabric prints from my own multicoloured resins experiments.
The digital prints in different scales were created from layered imagery of the resins, which contain varied colour tones and filled with different textures, e.g. Sprinkles and Thread.
