About Me

Hi, I'm Sophie, a dedicated and passionate Content Creator.

A talented creative who delivers excellently executed communication and marketing projects as part of a team or under my own initiative. With great attention to detail, my strong visual art direction is evidenced in all my work, making compelling campaigns to engage the consumer.

My brand style and aesthetic would be described as feminine, delicate and calming. My passion is to create strong aesthetic content in accordance with a specific brand and its style. My purpose is to work with brands that look at creativity and those that have a feminine, commercial aesthetic. Ultimately what I want to achieve is helping and supporting brands with my services and creativity. What I value most in my personal and professional life is creativity, integrity, dependability, dedication and respect. These values help guide my attitudes, behaviours and decisions throughout life.

INSPIRATION

Personal branding builds your reputation and image of yourself for the outside world.

My personal brand style developed from my love of pastel colours, where looking at my bedroom decor supported this as I believed it to be a more accurate reflection of who I am. Pink is the dominant colour I correspond with; its significance of femininity, softness, and calmness greatly reflect my brand and the types of brands I aspire to work for in the future. The work that I produce showcases my attention to detail and strong art direction through creating a visual and communication-based experience.

My mum is my biggest inspiration in life; she has shown how self-belief and hard work will always earn you success. If you are positive, you will see opportunities instead of obstacles. She has encouraged me to change my mindset and find myself, reminding me to never give up following my dreams. As Oprah Winfrey once said, "You become what you believe, not what you think or what you want. When you undervalue what you do, the world will undervalue who you are.”

DETAIL

Levevis Magazine

Levevis magazine is a homeware and lifestyle magazine focusing on sustainable living, intending to educate people on how to live and shop more sustainably. The name 'Levevis' means lifestyle in Danish, inspired by the Scandinavian design throughout the magazine. The reasoning behind the idea was I felt there needed to be more of a focus on sustainability as it rarely gets spoken about in magazines, especially in terms of homeware. A minimalistic feel is portrayed through the combination of browns, creams and whites, giving off a luxury ambience, tranquillity and a sense of stability and support. The subtle hints of sage green and muted blue throughout create a warming effect and accompany the neutrals to help generate a sense of peace and serenity. Overall, the creation of the magazine was to educate and guide consumers in making more ethical choices when decorating the home and when shopping for accessories. © Sophie Emmerton March 2022 in full or part, all rights reserved.
