About Me

Fashion stylist and photographer.

I am a fashion media and marketing graduate who has a passion for sustainable styling and photography within the fashion industry.

I am a fashion media and marketing graduate who has a passion for sustainable styling and photography within the fashion industry. From all of the research which I have done over the past three years one thing which kept coming up was how badly the fashion industry was affecting the planet. It was clear that in order for the fashion industry to continue to grow and thrive there needed to be a shift in the way all aspects of the fashion industry were operating. I decided to focus on one of these areas which was the way brands were creating content for new collections and created ‘The Link’.

INSPIRATION

This idea grew from research into how badly the fashion industry was affecting the planet.

The Link is a platform where brands can come and find out about new and innovative technology within the industry and also use a service to create sustainable content such as imagery for social media or promotional materials for new collections.

I wanted to work with a large variation of high end and high street brands to make sure sustainability was accessible to everyone. I did it by using materials which were sourced from second hand and vintage shops and styling new pieces alongside old ones and also using perishable props in shoots such as food which was highly effective and better for the environment.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

I made it my mission to create an innovative platform to help the industry become more sustainable.

In order to make the shoots as sustainable as possible I used different methods to create effective and visually pleasing images. All shoots were held on locations near to myself and the model as to reduce the amount of emissions created from travel and there was always a minimal amount of people on set. In order to create less waste I used clothing rental services such as Rotaro to ensure the shoots were still affective but as sustainable as possible. All props used in shoots were found in charity or vintage shops. I hope that this project has shown brands that campaigns and editorials can still be created to a high standard without destroying the planet.
