I’m a 23-year-old fashion designer with a passion for the unique and unconventional. Driven by curiosity and a love for innovation, I explore techniques and creative paths that may seem unexpected or unconventional to others. My work is rooted in a deep appreciation for art, and I strive to translate that passion into designs that are bold, thought-provoking, and visually distinctive.
INSPIRATION
But yet we keep reaching for more, even as it rots in our hands. “Have your cake” examines the insatiable hunger of modern consumer culture. We’ve forgotten the wisdom in limits, choosing instead to devour endlessly. Through personifying overconsumption as a decaying force, it reveals how our addiction to excess buying, eating and owning, feeds not fulfillment, but rot.
“Gluttony- the overindulgence or lack of self restraint” A word that once described a personal vice now defines a collective condition-the endless hunger society has for consumables. In an age of fast fashion, instant gratification, and algorithm-driven desire, we chase a high that never lasts. We are not consuming to fulfill need, but to momentarily silence the emptiness. We are hungry, thoughtless, and addicted.
DETAIL
Rooted in the reality of overconsumption, “Have your cake” takes a sustainable stance. We choose to work with what already exists: waste fabric, recycled materials, and deadstock. As consumers and designers, we can no longer afford to make uninformed, harmful decisions. The cost is too high. The change begins now — and it begins with us. “Have your cake” is also gender-neutral by design. It is not made for one type of person, but for all. This is fashion with intention. Consumption with care. Creation with consequence.
