Sofia Sereir is a fashion designer with tailoring skills, pattern making and sewing, as well as working in various languages and under pressure in the fashion industry. I’m really interested in developing my creativity, deepening on the field while learning with every project, focusing on get the most of every professional opportunity that I come across with.
INSPIRATION
MOMENTO
The title of this collection Momento is the message that the creator sends through a collection steeped in current events telling a specific period that has marked and will transform forever the human race in relation to nature.The whole collection is a mix of conceptual and contemporary art and represents the strength power and union between women who have made a long journey so far bringing a clearly visible awareness on their shoulders shouting the message to the new generations.
Oversized straps and jeans have always been details used to redefine the figure and make it important and mighty. Such tools revolutionized fashion in the 90s and in current events are returning to recomposing modern sewers, reappearing to our eyes as a story through old photographs. In a modern key, the female body evolves further through the strength of new androgyne, imposing figures, with refined but clean lines, giving this collection a new value through the search for perfection.
