About Me
HI, I'M SOFIA A GRAUDATE FROM ISTITUTO MARANGONI MILANO
She was born in Casale Monferrato in 1999. She studied graphic and communication at Istituto tecnico “Leardi” in Casale, developing an interest in graphic and photography. Sofia decided to take the course of fashion design, because it is a passion that she had since her childhood. She believes that design is an art form to express herself.
The designer's job is no longer just to create clothes, but to deal with deeper themes that involve you, intrigue you and leave you an emotion. The clothes become not only the physical but intellectual property of the wearer because at that moment they become a person's expression and means of communication.
INSPIRATION
MY FIRST INSPIRATION WAS TO INVESTIGATE THE WOMAN'S BODY.
"There is a very intimate side in the clothes that makes a sense of nudity of the body, it is the human need for sensuality, experimentation and freedom, the possibilities to explore with colors " (Miuccia Prada)
Collage, light, colors and transparencies, so the idea of body and feminility is explored, through the work of Harley Weir, who investigates the body and its fluidity through suggestive and powerful collages. Transporting the spectator,in a moment, in the world of Linder sterling, where not only the woman's body is placed at the center of his work, but issues such as sexuality and feminism are addressed, where “the diversion is fun”.

DETAIL
I USED DIFFERENT KNITTING DETAILS FOR THE CREATION OF MY GARMENTS
the garments are elaborated with hand knitting techniques, utilizing various yarn weights. The yarns used are 100% wool and in the garment I used them for the neckline and the ruffle at the hem.These knitwear designs enhance the outfits and make them unique.
