Studying fashion accessory design at Ravensbourne London. I was pushed to think beyond the norm, find my style and figured out how I can place myself in the market.
I wouldn’t even classify my work as jewellery, it is more like art pieces. I believe they are multi- purpose. At times I just admire my creations and visualise them as sculptures. One day I see myself using this material to create vases and canvas décor. The idea that SHICHI resides alongside you and I believe the connection with the brand and human will flourish. I’m not just making earrings; I’m creating a community of badass abstract statement-wear.
INSPIRATION
A craft that has been inspired the by idea of growing your own material / upscaling everyday waste that is generally viewed as ‘rubbish’ and ‘dirty’ into something glamourous and luxurious.
The brand ethos include producing innovative, natural, unusual designs for a sustainable fashion future. The materials used on most pieces aren’t completely prominent, which makes the pieces more intriguing, visually appealing and exclusive. There is a gap in the market for the brand to fill and there is no time like the present to introduce SHICHI.
