About Me

Hi, I am a Fashion Design graduate from AUB

UK based AUB fashion design graduate specialising in high end tech-wear garments that push the boundaries of conventional menswear silhouettes, whilst providing advanced functionality to the wearer.

My design language has always driven me towards taking surreal ideas and flowing them through my work, sharing unearthly ideas and bringing them to the physical world. Accompanied by high end finishings and functional elements, my garments draw aspects from technical outerwear and multi-purpose clothing. By using a mixture of skills consisting of digital design and hand pattern cutting, my approach takes on a hybrid form and uses a range of different processes to better my design outcome and make the process more efficient.

INSPIRATION

Storytelling through tech-wear

My graduate collection 'MURA' explores an alien species inhabiting a planet mutated by radiation. The designs draw influence from the storyline that they find themselves in, and inherit shapes found in the environment on Planet Mura. The creatures from the planet create protective garments to shield themselves from harsh conditions, featuring alien lenses and exo-skeletons woven into the garments.

My products provide a new dimension of clothing, communicating my work through a storyline allows the audience to gain a greater understanding of the clothes and feel tied into the brands journey. Intricate prints and details that stem from the concept and provide pops of colour on top of a neutral palette are featured in my collections, which draw the customers eye to the intelligent details allowing them to be appreciated in the same way that the maker sees them.

DETAIL

Through the lens

The signature feature of my collection is the 3D printed eyewear that I designed using Blender3D. These face pieces are fully detachable and allow the wearer to customise the garment.
