About Me

Fashion Buying & Brand Management Graduate - focus on luxury fashion

I am a self-motivated, imaginative and analytical individual. My university experience has further boosted my creative and intrapersonal skillset, offering me an up-to-date insight into various spheres of the fashion industry. Spending my placement term at Emporio Armani has allowed me to prove and expand my expertise in a dynamic luxury environment.

Winner of Kingpins x Ravensbourne Live Denim Project "Best Approach to Sustainability" award, I am passionate about making a change in the world of fashion. My aspiration is that no matter where and what I work, to make sure I contribute to creating a more transparent, ethical and sustainable future for retail.

INSPIRATION

Fashion is a vocation. A vocation to innovate and push the boundaries.

From a young age, I have been enchanted with the glamorous world of fashion. Looking up to rule-defying creators such as Virgil Abloh, Stella McCartney and Marine Serre, has inspired me to define my own path in the industry. It was only natural to pursue a degree in a course that grasps various spheres within the fashion business - even at the cost of moving to a foreign country. My experience in London has been eye-opening - being a fashion student has introduced me to new ways of thinking and creating.

For me, fashion comes with sense and sensibility. Innovation has been at the core of my work - dedicating my first project to Marine Serre's upcycling-driven brand. A year later, being part of the creation of sustainable denim brand - Decura, has granted me a Kingpins "Best Approach to Sustainability Award" for developing a carbon-neutral supply chain. Driven by the same core value - creating a rental business model that honours the full lifecycle of pieces was the main inspiration behind my FMP.

DETAIL

The fashion buying and brand management course grasps various spheres within the fashion industry, including buying, communications and promotion. The course has broadened my technical literacy especially in Adobe Indesign - giving me skills transferable within the industry, while encouraging me to think and work independently and collaboratively. For my Final Major Project, I have tried to experiment with another program - SketchUp, while creating a 3D store model to bring my idea to life.
