Hi, i'm Perzha a graduate from Cardiff met
Perzha was inspired by personal journey growing up between Kurdish and British culture.
Creating a collection inspired by cultural fusion.
INSPIRATION
Creation my own personal identity through fashion.
East meets west is my graduate collection of womenswear inspired by my Kurdish heritage. the collection tells the story of personal journey of my life growing up between western and eastern society. The aim of the collection is to inspire young Kurds in the middle eastern society to express themselves freely and be brave with what your wear. Using the richness of traditional patterns and colours to mixed with western contemporary silhouettes to create the cultural fusion.

Print is inspired by Motif Designs Found in traditional Kurdish Tribal Rugs
The print for my collection was printed using digital print. my fabrics for the garments were a mixture of traditional Kurdish fabric and contemporary fabrics purchased in the UK. To reduce wastage I used the left over fabric from the collection to create head scarfs.
