About Me

Hi! Im Percy, a Fashion Communication graduate from UWE Bristol.

As a passionate creative, I possess a diverse skill set in image making and visual communication, driven by my unwavering commitment to sustainability within the fashion industry. Throughout my studies at UWE Bristol, I have refined my expertise in photography, styling, and art direction, consistently pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling in fashion.

Throughout university, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Fred Perry and Tank Magazine on live briefs. Fora my final year projects, I developed a sustainable campaign for Burberry, from styling and photography to promotion, I immersed myself in every aspect of the campaign. My dissertation extensively examined the detrimental effects of greenwashing in the fast fashion industry, shaping my understanding of creating transparent and impactful campaigns. I have also explored identity and storytelling through zines and publications, expressing creativity in a variety of visual mediums.

INSPIRATION

I've always found inspiration as a creator from my upbringing in Asia

My fashion ideas are deeply influenced by my upbringing in vibrant Singapore, a cultural melting pot. The rich diversity of cultures, encompassing Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western influences, has shaped my perspective on personal expression and celebrating unique identities. Additionally, Singapore's commitment to sustainability has significantly impacted my creative process. It motivates me to explore environmentally friendly resources and seamlessly integrate them into work

DETAIL

"The Beyond Bag" - Burberry Concept Content & Strategy Campaign

"The Beyond Bag" is an omnichannel marketing campaign that introduces the revolutionary TreeKind bio-leather material, while reflecting Burberry's values and aspirations for a more sustainable brand image. With the recent appointment of a new creative director specializing in leather goods, this campaign marks a significant step forward. The collaboration between these two entities not only highlights Burberry's commitment to sustainability but also celebrates their shared British roots, creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship. Moreover, the campaign imagery incorporates Burberry Collaborates, featuring renowned British landscape artists, seamlessly connecting the product's artistic essence with the natural elements involved in its production. In my role as Creative Director, Photographer, Stylist, and Marketing Communications specialist, I ensured the campaign's cohesive representation of Burberry's unwavering dedication to sustainability.

"In a world full of trends, I want to remain a classic." - Iman
