《Yi》
The name of my work is "Yi". I made 5 sets of men's clothing, which are new styles designed by combining traditional Chinese clothing with modern popular clothing. In terms of color and embroidery, I cited bamboo, one of the four gentlemen plants in China, to extend my inspiration. The Dai embroidery was disassembled and reorganized and combined with the
outline of the bamboo, a new pattern was designed for embroidery, and the emerald green and dark color of the bamboo were combined. In the fabric, I used cotton and polyester suiting fabrics, and selected fabrics with dark patterns, so that the dark parts of the suit are also full of details. And I designed this series of clothing not only to express the noble character and image of ancient gentlemen, but also to combine the development of Chinese excellent clothing with modern clothing, and carry forward and promote it to the world.
INSPIRATION
Combine traditional Chinese clothing with popular clothing and rebuild new clothing styles
"Yi" means noble and stable. My clothing design is to combine traditional Chinese clothing elements with the characteristics of modern clothing. In the version, the version of Chinese traditional cheongsam, gentleman clothing, cloud shoulder and other traditional clothing is combined with the modern popular deconstructed clothing version, and the traditional Dai pattern is extracted and reorganized. Using the soft and hard changes of clothing fabrics to integrate traditional and modern clothing styles
and the design of hats and handbags on accessories echoes the clothing, and it can better show that traditional Chinese clothing and patterns can also be displayed in modern life. Its unique charm of the East. For the fabric, I used cotton and linen suiting fabric. The color has extracted a calm and atmospheric deep tone and a finishing touch of emerald green to make the clothing more relaxed

The traditional patterns and embroidery extract the pattern of traditional Chinese clothing
So I think of the bamboo among the four gentlemen in China, and its strong appearance and strong personality can also be combined with the clothing pattern I designed. So at the beginning of my embroidery, I used bamboo to combine with traditional Chinese bird embroidery, but the effect of embroidery was not grand. Instead, I lost the meaning of the word gentleman. I combined the traditional Dai pattern with the firm outer wheel width of bambooIn the design of the pattern, I also used the traditional Chinese Taoist robe, cloud shoulder and shawl, as well as the ancient Chinese emperor's dragon robe combined with modern deconstructed clothing.In the application of fabrics, in order to compare the softness and the hardness of suit fabrics of the same material, I used a combination of double-sided lining, soft lining and hard lining. In this way, the original texture of the fabric can be guaranteed to have soft and hard changes, so as to achieve the effect that my clothing wants to show.
"Yi" implies a stable and noble meaning, convinces people with morality in life, and shows the noble character of ancient gentlemen
