DETAIL
Fashion is a multifaceted concept that involves, art, inspiration, process, design and often ending in a product. Sometimes that product is not only a print, or a computer aided design nor an article of clothing, the product may be a feeling. My hope is that, through my work, someone who may have experienced a negativity towards themselves, would feel encouraged. Fashion that impacts the heart is my main focus. If I, as a designer, have an opportunity to create a statement, just through my clothing, why not use that voice to produce a message of body positivity, in a world dominated by "beauty standards". Why not use that opportunity to make someone smile. My goal is not only make clothing that looks good, but to make a statement, through said clothing, that does the heart good. I have launched my t-shirt apparel "Imperfection Collection". It simply states "This Brand is For 'Not Perfect People'" thus creating a statement that encourages the embracing of yourself as you are. Apparel with a purpose.
