About Me

NAOMI HOFFMEISTER, GRADUATE FROM UNIVERSITY OF THE WEST OF ENGLAND

Naomi is a creative individual exploring new ways to market and advertise in the Fashion industry. She is passionate and enthusiastic about the final outcome of the projects she takes on, constantly challenging herself to ensure a strong, meaningful, communication from the final outcome to the audience.

"I am ambitious and will jump at taking on new challenges to carry on gaining new skills and confidence in every corner of the industry. My degree has given me the chance to gain a lot of practise in researching a brand thoroughly including their competitors, audience and strengths and weakness’, prior to setting out the marketing strategy for the project" says Naomi "I have loved exploring topics which need more coverage in the media like disabilities and embracing who you are".

INSPIRATION

Inspired by powerful campaigns which are relevant to forward-facing topics in the industry.

I love my work having a strong, positive effect on my audience and it be something that can inspire, educate and uplift them. A recent campaign of mine I produced was for Lonsdale, which was to motivate boxers, athletes and individuals to push themselves in their field of fitness or sport. I box for fitness and the drive I get from it makes me feel so strong physically and mentally, so I wanted to encourage others to do the same if they aren’t already.

I have also been inspired by brands, campaigns and communities which are advocated towards the rise of being inclusive for people with disabilities. Having Scoliosis, a spinal deformity, I have grown up insecure about my back thinking I looked so abnormal but during my research into these topics it is because I have realised how little coverage it has in the general media. If I can prevent others feeling the same way I have done for so many years then that is a very successful project completed.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

Redesigning the face of Lonsdale to encourage individuals to succeed in their goals.

Mentally and physically training helps me so I wanted to create a campaign which could encourage people, if they weren’t already, to get fit and keep active. Lonsdale being quite dated and behind with current marketing and branding strategies, I wanted to create this new campaign which would not only motivate people to drive to excel, but also modernise the brand, find it a new demographic and get it back on the market as a top boxing and sporting brand. I captured two fitness individuals doing a mix of exercises, including boxing, alongside fast paced music to ensure the viewer would feel energised and inspired to get up and move.
