Nam Duong - Fashion Accessories - Ravensbourne University
I am from London, my ethnic background is Vietnamese. Studying architecture was always a safe route for me however, fashion was always at the back of my mind. Changing my course was a big risk but it felt like the right move. Picking Fashion accessories felt like the perfect balance between the two.
Pursuing fashion accessories enabled me to apply my architectural skills and inspiration into fashion. In the fashion market, women have more stylistic options as opposed to male consumers. I wanted to design interesting pieces for menswear.
INSPIRATION
Engulfed Within
Combining details within interior architecture to exterior landscaping. Adapting to a post covid environment ensuring comfort for all activities whether it would be walking, running or tranquility. This collection is curated to everyone.
The concept for my footwear collection provides comfort and versatility for both indoor and outdoors. Embellished with the natural landscape contour designs to show the feeling of calmness. Using soft knit foam and a specially designed platformed sole to allow the feet to behave in a balanced and relaxed position when in motion.

Digital Knit / 3D Print Sole
Using image colours and shapes to create different knit textures and densities. 3D print using rhino software and printed in SLS powder.
