Hi! I'm Maisie a Fashion Design & Marketing graduate from Uni of Derby
I am a highly creative individual, specialising in the fashion marketing aspects of my university degree. I have a particular interest and knowledge in fashion trends, styling and social media, which I have demonstrated throughout my three year degree at the University of Derby.
Throughout my time at university, I have showcased my love for fashion, and my interest for social media and fashion styling. During my research for my final major project, I was captivated by the sheer hold social media and trends have, on not only us as individuals but the industry in which I was studying. This led me to the creation of '222STYLED' my final major project, aimed at providing trend based fashion inspiration and content, whilst remaining conscious of sustainbility. This portfolio gives an insight into 222STYLED.
INSPIRATION
My initial inspiration was influenced by my interests in social media and trends
My project draws inspiration from the captivating world of fashion trends and social media. I am fascinated by how social media shapes and influences fashion, and fashion trends. I'm particularly interested in styling, leading to the creation of 222STYLED. Through my project, I aimed to explore and showcase my passion for creating stylish looks that reflect both current trends and my own personal flair. Inspiring consumers to generate a capsule wardrobe full of versatile pieces that will last for years.
'222' - Alignment. Everything is working out just as it's supposed to. Trust that you are on the right path and stay focused on the things you want in life. You are in the right place and the right time. I chose the name '222STYLED' as not only is '222' a recognised angel number, something which has personal meaning to myself. The repetition of the numbers references the idea of repeatedly styling items and to make the most out of each garment, abolishing the ideas about only wearing things once.
