About Me

Hi my name is Karen I am a 4th year student at Heriot Watt University!

I have always been interested in creating and experimenting with new crafts, and then I found Fashion! This was a fun way for me to use these skills I enjoyed when I was young and make them into things people would wear. I am primarily inspired by architecture and creating unique shapes on the body.

At university, I have learnt to be more creative and think outside the box to overcome problems in my designs and bring my ideas to life. I have loved learning new techniques of pattern cutting, fabric manipulation, and using more sustainable practices to create beautiful garments. Each day, I learn something new, and I believe I will continue to do so in the future to expand my creations so that no idea is impossible.
