An innovative creative who discovered a passion for social media marketing whilst studying at Solent University. Gained a wide range of valuable experiences in content creation and marketing strategy, working with and for a variety of fashion and beauty brands.
After completing three years at Solent University studying Fashion and Beauty Media, I have developed an extensive variety of skills that catalysed my passion for social media marketing and content creation. I created a skincare brand for tweens called 'Nolie' for my Final Major Project. It showcases the skills I have refined and is a culmination of my University journey. It portrays my infatuation with the beauty world and leans into a clear and coveted gap in the market.
INSPIRATION
I created a skincare brand for my final major project that is dedicated to tweens. Nolie is a brand that I wish was available whilst I was finding my feet as a tween. Coming-of-age can be challenging alone, and when you feel like you are not represented or seen, it makes things even trickier. Nolie is a brand that aims to solve this problem and provide young beauty lovers with a safe space to delve into their infatuation for skincare.
I created Nolie as a way to encourage tweens to fulfil their love for the world of beauty, offering them a safe entryway into their teenage years. The brand provides them with the opportunity to learn about their individual skin needs and the key details about the products that they use. These tweens are the next generation of beauty consumers, so it is vital that they feel valued by skincare brands.
DETAIL
Combining a range of traditional and digital strategies, a complete marketing campaign was created surrounding the launch of Nolie Skincare. It was integral to target both young beauty lovers and their parents, presenting Nolie as a safe brand for their children, allowing them to get involved with the world of skincare. Nolie Skincare fuels the tween desire to be viewed as ‘more mature’ whilst still allowing them hold on to their youth.
