About Me

Hello, I'm Jdy A Graduate From Nottingham Trent University

When people wear my clothes, I want to design clothes that can remember the time they spent with my garments in the past, and the new memories they will make with my clothes in the future, that my garments can be forever together in their lives.

I hope the cycle of my precious collection garment doesn't end, but if they have to, they can be recycled. Therefore, I want to be an environmentally friendly designer myself by using as eco-friendly fabric and materials as possible and excluding unethical materials.

INSPIRATION

I started my concept from my childhood happy memories.

When I was a child, I like to play with dolls, The dolls were like friends or my sibling. I was always with the doll wherever I went. And sometimes I went to my favourite amusement park with my mother on holidays to have a happy time together. I especially liked amusement parks because when I went there, my favourite dolls danced and played with me like a fantasy world. I want to express this atmosphere beautifully in this collection.

My research has explored various processes that can aestheticize the happy emotions I felt when I was young. I am enjoying and developing printing techniques and innovative use of laser cutting to express the overwhelming excitement I felt at amusement parks and the dream-like fantasy I felt there in my clothes. I am trying to achieve amazing fabric and laser cutting techniques to stimulate the nostalgia of childhood innocence that everyone must have felt in amusement parks through my collection.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

I'm pushing very hard to make my design perfect.

I'm working hard to produce professional print designs, and I'm evolving from innovative, bold silhouettes to high-quality finishes. I am trying to build an original personality in the collection by using challenging fabrics and materials. I am also trying to reduce the number of discarded fabrics by thorough lay-plans and careful material selection to minimise waste.

Inspiring by new experiences and adventures, I create the collection that gives people pleasure and confidence in various and new ways of design and expression.
