Recently graduating from BA Fashion Design (Hons) I have discovered my passion for surface design, textiles and interesting methods of construction! I love to create and design excessive menswear silhouettes with functional details inspired by research garments. I am a lover of all things denim and leather and continue to use these materials in practice.
Additionally, I am interested in creative pattern cutting through clay form making which I then extract patterns from. This process has allowed me to design interesting silhouette and also developments for accessories including bags.
INSPIRATION
Japanese anti establishment car culture known as Bozosoku heavily inspired my project. Excessive car body kits informed oversized silhouettes and creative pattern cutting within my design work. The infamous drift stitch also inspired my hand stitching and taped joining techniques throughout my garments.
