About Me
Hi, I'M IZZY A GRADUATE FROM BCU
Mainly known as Izzy Mana is a Creative Director and Fashion Film creator. With a degree in Fashion Branding and Communication from Birmingham City University. He has gained the necessary skills to make themselves a well-rounded creative individual who is authentic, reliable and a risk taker.
My message for my work is to shine a light in the fashion industry using film and other form of digital media. Being about to communicate fashion through the use of film in a more diverse way, in my opinion allows the industry to progress more and evolve.
INSPIRATION
The Creative Process.
I was inspired to create a mini documentary film called 'Creative Lockdown' as a response to the lack of acknowledgement the creative industry along with creative students received during the pandemic. The film follows the P.O.V (Point Of View) of four creative individuals and showcases how they were able to produce content and stay motivated.
Secondly, I was inspired by fashion film creators such as Ruth Hogben and Nick Knight. I found that their work spoke to me on a creative level. Documentary Filmmaker, Adam Curtis was also a key inspiration in this project due to the way they are able to communicate a storyline to an audience.

CREATIVE LOCKDOWN
A Creative Lockdown is a mini documentary which follows the personal journey of four creative individuals and how they have coped during COVID-19 and a national lockdown. The film included personal interviews, images and project footages from the individuals with a moving video diaries theme #CREATIVELOCKDOWNFILM​
THE PANDEMIC HAS REALLY BROKEN DOWN THOSE GEOGRAPHICAL BARRIERS THAT PEOPLE MIGHT SUFFER FROM AND FACE WHEN TRYING TO GO INTO THE INDUSTRY AFTER THEY GRADUATE
