About Me

Creative Director, Photographer and Publicist

I am a creative working at the intersection of art direction and image-making, with a practice shaped by my English and Spanish heritage and a background in fashion and fine art. Captivated by the entire creative process — from concept to execution — I focus on multi-layered storytelling that explores identity, culture, and emotion.

My work blends candid photography with character-led narratives, using authenticity and diverse perspectives to craft compelling brand campaigns and fashion editorials. I’ve taken on a range of roles that have sharpened my intuitive, hands-on approach — from directing a student-led campaign for Adam Jones to assisting on editorial shoots for Boys by Girls magazine and documenting behind-the-scenes moments at exhibitions and short film productions. These experiences have strengthened my confidence across all stages of production, from lighting setups and retouching to layout design.

INSPIRATION

Creating space for reflection — on selfhood, culture, and the nuances of everyday.

Ultimately, it’s the people I surround myself with who inspire my cultural perspective. Growing up in a Spanish household within the UK has always shaped my understanding of identity and sparked a curiosity about others. I believe community and creativity go hand-in-hand — we grow through shared experiences and learning from one another.

Drawing on fine art influences, I use fashion photography as a medium to bring my ideas to life, whether in digital or physical form. This fusion is an ongoing exploration — a space where my practice continues to evolve.

DETAIL

Alma en Velo

A photobook and publication that visually explores my Spanish heritage. Drawing inspiration from the Romani community—los gitanos—it centres on the strength, elegance, and spirit of Andalusian women. I reimagine traditional Spanish motifs such as lace, flowers, flamenco, and fans, weaving them into a modern context.

"I'm not interested in clothes as just things you wear — I'm interested in the ideas behind them." - Hussein Chalayan
