My personal design style focuses on Ready-To-Wear Menswear featuring graphic prints and casual styles with an on-trend aesthetic. Oversized garments and excessive layering add to the wearability of my design style, as well as developing everyday adapted accessories to suit the fashion conscious consumer.
My inspiration comes from my everyday life and experiences through an often comedic approach, which is reflected in my final collection. I believe that by developing a consumer, it allows me to work towards a brief, ensuring that my designs will be wearable and functional. As seen in my final collection, I like to incorporate oversized garments and excessive layering to suit a range of needs as a consumer and to achieve their intended aesthetic.
INSPIRATION
Holt The Game BA Hons Edition- The Game Inspired By The University Lads.
Taking inspiration from the men that I have interacted with over my past four years at university and taking a humorous approach on their personalities, Holt The Game was created. Focusing on ready to wear streetwear and layered garments to reflect each of the 'Players'. The use of the oversized aesthetic displays the wearability of the collection which is enhanced by the white comedic graphic prints, inspired by each player and vintage video games.Â
Using elastic lace up styling throughout the garments creates a sports-like feel within the collection and creates a contrast against the entirely black appearance. The collection features hoodies with built in peak details, bold and humorous graphic prints, oversized puffer outerwear garments and a range of wearable bags enhanced with lace up details and print features as well as multiple layers creating a mix and match vibe to increase the wearability of the collection.

Lacing Elastic, Graphic Prints and Accessories
With the whole collection being black, the use of the contrasting white details work to accentuate the overall look of the collection. The screen printed graphic prints are used to represent each player in a humorous way through their use of slogans and visuals, whilst combining this idea with vintage gaming pixels and imagery. Elasticated details create a lace up feature that manipulates some of the shapes of the garments and adds a sporty vibe to the collection. Also, using a range of black fabrics creates a contrast in textures throughout the collection and fits with the mix and match, ready to wear aesthetic. Creating  everyday use accessories, inspired by the University student, adds to the collection and showcases more print and wearability. Â
