About Me

Hi! I'm Gabriela, a fashion business graduate from Coventry University

I would describe myself as a caring and loving person. Therefore, I always think of customers' struggles first, and with that, I can manage to find a solution that can be incorporated into a business plan. I believe that, the fashion industry could and will be more involved in their consumers' problems rather then in the newest trends.

I am all about sustainability as well as diversity. I always try my best to think in a sustainable way when it comes to my work. This also allowed me to pay more attention to details when researching. Moreover, when developing complex projects, adaptability was a skill that I needed to tailor. I might say that my kindness is my greatest strength, which I believe is key in today's fashion industry.

INSPIRATION

I am always inspired by people and their stories.

I like to listen to and learn from everyone who takes from their precious time to talk to me. When someone is opening up to me, it makes me feel special. Therefore, I want them to feel special as well. To do so, I try my best to find a solution to their needs and struggles. For this project, I was inspired by the women who surround me and their everyday struggles.

My concept for this project is not only meant to be incorporated into a business plan, but through it, I would like to share awareness about feminine needs and several sensitivities around the body as well. Trying to understand the different stages of life is hard. Although, brands can ease this journey by connecting with customers and helping them throughout.

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

BLOOM Lingerie is a brand that offers emotional and physical support through its products.

The brand is targeted toward people who suffer from a sensitivity around the breast area, therefore it is designed to be as gentle as possible. The concept behind the products is that they are designed to support the breasts and ameliorate the pain/sensibility/soreness, while it gives them a tight ‘’hug’’. The tightness is for a comforting feeling, releasing the stress. The purpose of creating lingerie items is to elevate the searching experience, especially for a product for special needs.

“Inspiration on its own was shallow; you had to back it up with hard work.” -Michelle Obama
