Freddy Woodroffe is a London born designer, specialising in fashion accessories. He graduated from Arts University Bournemouth, whilst studying he realised there was a lack of focus in functional accessories bordering luxury fashion. Focusing on designing wearable goods that are a perfect essential for everyday use.
After studying at Arts University Bournemouth I have found the avenue of fashion I want to go down, in accessory design. Keeping it true to myself. Designing for practical use and everyday purposes. I want to create a brand with a household name and
Bags designed for a 21st C environment combining distinctive style, high functioning and considered materiality. They have physical and stylistic longevity. Inspired by 1990’s skateboarding, silhouettes for these all-terrain bags are informed by architectural blueprints and skatepark forms. They are luxurious and highly practical, created to withstand activity and movement.
Waterproof material and leather run throughout. Leather is expensive but improves through weathering and use. Metal detailing adds distinction and robustness. Colour palettes are taken from urban environments. The style, aesthetic and function of this range, bring outdoor environment and activity wear into the consumer market.
Across my portfolio I hope to showcase many different details. But here I am getting detailed closeups of the bags I have made for this 4 bag part series. Wanting to show off the attention to detail without over crowding. I am hoping people who see this work are excited by it wanting it to be apart of their everyday life. Appealing for exactly what its made for.
