About Me

Hi, I'm Ellie a graduate from University of the West of England

Ellie is an Art Director/Content Creator. Her interests lie within ethical and responsible fashion, these values drive the concepts behind Ellies work at every turn.

Ellie enjoys lifting images to their full potential in post-production, pushing the narrative of an idea through exciting visuals, and putting the visuals into context with a keen eye for detail on brand awareness and identity. Ellie runs an ethical fashion online platform Wears That From? that highlights slow fashion alternatives to fast fashion.

INSPIRATION

To be part of the solution not the problem through a positively lead ,online platform.

1 truck load of clothes is dumped every minute. The pressure is on with regards to bettering our fashion consumption habits and the more recourses out there to help encourage a slower, more mindful pace of consuming the better. Wears That From? is a positively lead platform showcasing that style doesn’t have to come at the cost of our morals, but rather act as a reflection of our morals and our endeavours to make the right choices with regards to what we are consuming.

Steering away from the typical neutral tones we associate with sustainable fashion. I aimed for Wears That From? to be an engaging platform through the use of energetic colours, visuals and graphics, appealing to those who may be more hesitant to open up to slow fashion and celebrate a more unique sense of style.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

I elevate my visuals through post-production in Photoshop.

I have focused my work predominately on art direction, paying close attention to brand identity and design. I create compelling work that is full of creative expression and colour whilst marrying these visuals with the theme of responsible and ethical fashion. These values are embedded into all of my creative decisions at every turn I take. Every project I do is contextually led to ensure meaning behind the visual.
