I moved to the North-East from the North-West (northern girl through and through) and studied Fashion Communication; here, I found my zest for conceptual image production, styling, typography, design, and words.
I am a freelance styling and studio production assistant, with experience in a variety of studio sets and locations, developing a deep understanding of methods for campaigns, editorial, e-commerce, and video. I also have experience in creative direction, art direction and pitch building.
INSPIRATION
Inspired by people-centric narratives, culture, and communities. My university projects have connected with people doing interesting things in their spaces. Who’s Good? is an annual publication that I have had the pleasure of creating as a creative production assistant at Good Day Studio, a vibrant creative space in Newcastle’s heart. Who’s Good? is a frequently asked question, and I set out to answer those questions, highlighting those making waves in the North East creative scene.
During a critical time for the creative industries, identifying individuals who can inspire and connect with younger generations from working-class backgrounds is more important than ever. That's why Who's Good? recognises the significance of promoting creative individuals who can serve as relatable role models within these communities.
DETAIL
The video is a collaborative effort to showcase the creatives and the studio. I directed and produced this film alongside my publication Who's Good? The video celebrates the creatives that are usually behind the camera. Putting a face to a name is important to creative communities and I wanted to celebrate a community I am proud to be apart of.
