I am inspired by cultures, feelings and thoughts, everyday things and women around me. With entrepreneurial vein, dreamy mind and a special interest in fashion styling, creative direction and sustainability.
Outgoing, responsible and ambitious. I consider myself a person with natural curiosity and desire to learn, always willing to push myself to the next level. I love to spend my free time learning about furniture, crafts and interior design.
It portrays the emotional meaning of home and the nostalgia for the past. Home, what is it home really? Home is that warm place that has seen us grow, our nest, to which we will always return and find true ancient treasures. Much of the inspiration for this collection comes from my family and ancestors, those times when everything was done by hand with great dedication, delicacy and love. It evokes handmade craftsmanship, the little details and wonderful fabrics full of charm.
It also encourages you to experiment with old techniques, perhaps already a little forgotten and in turn to be responsible for the environment. I have experimented with natural dyes using flowers, fruits and vegetables and others such as coffee and tea. The inspiration is in every little detail, be it the details of a cushion cover or the print of an old stripped mattress. The silhouettes are relaxed and highly detailed. I have played with personal details through sewing techniques such as embroidery.
Small details have been a very important part of this project. Each print has been designed with feeling and nostalgia for family ancestors. The selection of natural fabrics represents the warmth and comfort of home and each fabric manipulates the value of quality time, love for creating and inner peace.
