I am a creative young person who prides herself on her values and ethics which is reflected in my industry work. My motivation, creativeness and passion for the industry is what fuels my projects throughout my three years at University.
My work emulates my industry path and has shown my progression over the past three years in University. I've always had a love for fashion which started in college with my passion for Fashion Photography which slowly progressed into an interest in Styling. It wasn't till starting University in September and experimenting with Fashion that I found my love for Social Media Marketing.
Throughout my time in University my main inspiration has come from brands who are making a difference to the industry. Sustainability and Slow Fashion has always been at the forefront of my work introducing new ways to market and use fashion that causing less harm to our planet. Slow Fashion approaches Fast Fashion with a way to keep garments in the trend cycle for longer and gives customers a longer lasting, reliable product.
Another key inspiration for my work is the topic of animal cruelty. My strong values in a cruelty free industry have followed me through my years at University and will continue throughout my career. I believe strongly in brands that create a better future for the industry that I love.
My project is about creating a better future for sustainability throughout the industry. I choose Djerf Avenue; a Swedish Brand, to build my Marketing Strategy around due to their morals and values as a brand. Djerf Avenue and I have similar values when coming to our views on the industry and what needs to change. Djerf Avenue believe in long lasting product that is kind to the planet and creating distance from micro trends and trend cycling. The future of fashion is trend-less. I build my marketing strategy to help build and boost engagement for Djerf Avenue and creating a unique perspective on events and marketing. My project pushes the idea of utilising your customers for the centre of your marketing in forms such as events, podcasts and campaign plans. This helps to build and strong and long-lasting relationships with customers.
