About Me

Hi! I'm Angel. A fashion design graduate student from UEL.

I am a Filipino bespoke women’s wear brand designer who embodies elegance, sophistication, and glamour in her works. I create beautiful pieces with luxurious style and timeless femininity for a clients who love simplicity, glamour, and extravaganza.

I am a 25-year-old fashion designer who has an eye for going bold and daring, not just with fashion pieces but in life as well. Fashion and designing is my form of art ever since I was young. It is where I get my voice. As I believe that clothes create a sense of confidence and empowerment, a modern-day armor of every individual.

INSPIRATION

PODEROSA

PODEROSA is a unisex collection inspired by Philippine culture during the Spanish era. The inspiration of the Mascota dress is the traditional, dress worn by Zamboangueños in the Philippines during the early centuries. This collection is to showcase the culture and tradition of my roots and heritage on how women wear clothing from the past and translate it into modern contemporary present fashion. It is a unisex collection because it shows the power in all genders.

The draping and deconstruction of Barong Tagalog is used as a technique in making the terno/ Baro’t saya. Barong Tagalog is an embroidered long-sleeved formal shirt for men, it combines the elements of native Filipino and Spanish colonial styles. Their national wear of the Philippines is made out of sheer lightweight but stiff fabric called, Nipis. Usually women with pineapple fiber.
