About Me

3rd year student with a focus on genderless fashion

I BELIEVE IN A SELF-EXPRESSION WHICH IS HARMLESS YET PROVOKING, QUIET YET BOLD, FRAGILE YET GROUNDED IN CONFIDENCE.

With the philosophy of "clothes should be for whoever wants to wear them", the garments are created with an ageless and uncategorised aesthetic.

INSPIRATION

Inspired by introspection to which I give a physical form.

The first project, which was in collaboration with Superdry had its main goal in recreating garments provided by them in a sustainable yet innovative and creative way. Taking inspiration from Schiele and mixing it with Swedish cinema, i've recreated a genderless collection which has its starting point in sportswear, however i've twisted it into my style.

OBSCURE's concept became a very personal one as i've deepened the exploration of my inner world along the years but which heightened now. It played the part of identifying feelings and my perception of the environment around me, be it past, present or future and making peace with the constant flow of change that has shaped me, for better or worse, and strengthened me.

DETAIL

I was aiming for a finished-unfinished look

As my concept naturally gravitated toward something that is aged and rougher around the edges, I experimented and applied treatments and finishes to the garments which looked unfinished yet neat. Combined with the fabric choices of natural fibres with texture, the collection has gained a particular balance between the tailored and hand-finished pieces.
