About Me

Hi, I'm Amina, a Fashion Branding and Communication graduate

Rooted in a lifelong passion for art and storytelling, with a multidisciplinary approach that spans digital illustration, graphic design, photography, and social media content creation, I bring ideas to life through bold, concept-driven design.

With a sharp eye for detail, I strive to craft visuals that are both refined and emotionally resonant. Each project I take on is guided by intention, a balance of modern and nostalgic influence, designed to engage, challenge, and connect with diverse audiences. My style is expressive and narrative-led, often weaving in themes of identity, culture, and trend evolution. Whether crafting a visual identity, curating a campaign, or designing digital content, I strive to create work that celebrates individuality, and reflects the pulse of generation, every project is a chance to connect.

INSPIRATION

Each project is a blend of narrative, craft and self

As a fashion branding student with a deep passion for art and graphic design, I see creativity as a way to communicate stories that resonate. My work blends visual culture with strategic thinking, drawing on my skills in photography and film to craft inspirational narratives that connect aesthetics with meaning. Each project begins with an idea rooted in feeling or cultural observation and evolves through a process of experimentation across mediums.

In a world often driven by fast fashion and trends, timelessness encourages me to prioritise quality in the things I cherish. Whether it’s clothing, art, or experiences, I find value in choosing items that are well-crafted and enduring. Inspiration for me is everywhere, in family traditions, old photographs, and heirlooms that carry memory. Whether I’m designing for screen or sketching by hand, I’m inspired by a sense of nostalgia, intimacy, and transformation which runs through everything I create.

DETAIL

Worn & Woven

Growing up in a family of strong women, I’m inspired by the emotional life of clothing, how garments are passed down, reimagined, and woven with memory. My project embraces nostalgia and explores the quiet transformation of clothes over time, capturing the personal histories and intimate moments stitched into every thread. True style is not defined by fleeting trends but rather the resonance it creates within people’s lives.I'm drawn to the texture and quiet transformation of clothing over time, the way a worn-in jacket or softened knit can carry memory, identity, and emotional weight. This appreciation for the personal stories woven into garments has deepened my interest in slow fashion, with its emphasis on craftsmanship, ethical production, and intentional consumption. Worn & Woven embraces these values with “Woven” symbolising the intricate narratives these items weaved, bringing together memories, histories, and values across decades.

'Craft is the bridge between imagination, creativity and material - it asks you to be intentional.'
