About Me

I'm Agnes, a Fashion Marketing Graduate from University of Leeds.

My work is often centred around a keen interest in consumer behaviour and trends. I am passionate about creating opportunities offered by marketing to create a space and voice.

Throughout my university experience, gendered perspectives have played a vital interest point in my research. This project reflects my keen interest in fem-tech and the opportunities in an industry currently untapped into. Lulah is created out of personal struggle and research opportunity insight.

INSPIRATION

PCOS and lack of education

Lulah is a passion project born out of personal frustrations with the current female hormone help. Suffering from PCOS lead me to realise the lack of hormone support offered to women. Caroline Credo Perez offered huge inspiration for me from her research exposing the gender data gap. This perspective lead me to research further the possibility offered through design and marketing to create a shift from making something male fit everyone, to making something with women in mind.

The current market does not have a safe data app that allows women to track their hormones from starting their period to past menopause. The current health care system continually fails women as real female pain is not taken as seriously as males. The market for Lulah became clear through market and consumer trend research. It combines personal health worries of past, present and future.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

Lulah

Lulah is a female lifestyle integrated application that allows the safe tracking of hormones, with the use of predictive data, that will then give lifestyle recommendations based on a personalised cycle. Lulah aims to offer a fresh perspective on female hormone helping technology. Additionally, Lulah creates a B2B platform for subscription-based products to be added to the Lulah subscription, recommended to consumers' lifestyle and hormones specifications.

"Men go without saying, and women don't get said at all. Because when we say human, on the whole, we mean man" - Caroline Credo Perez
