My name is Abbey, and I am a multidisciplinary creative who has just finished studying for a degree in fashion communication and promotion. My interests especially lay in the innovation and development of the luxury fashion market.
My creative practice heavily relies upon research and conceptual consideration to visually bring ideas to life, which has been explored in my most recent works. Campaign strategy and marketing - including physical pop-up design, visual merchandising mock-ups, and photography are a few areas that I have touched upon as a driver of my creative career.
INSPIRATION
Pushing my boundaries is the driver of my creative expression. I primarily chose two main themes, sustainability and digital fashion to explore whilst learning new knowledge and creative skills.
Throughout the pandemic, it was my priority to further educate myself on the adverse effects of the fashion industry on our environment. Through creative exploration and further education, I was able to propose and create new alternatives to sustainability methods.
DETAIL
Jacquemus’ campaign will launch the brand into sustainable fashion. I have proposed three versions of the collections in three different places worldwide. Each region will use a natural pink dye local to their part of the world to create their own unique and sustainable pink. By turning their most sold and iconic collection sustainable, they show consumers that they are serious about their new sustainability pledge. These collections will only be able to be bought from the region that they are created and sourced from to reduce carbon emissions. This campaign will launch Moschino into the world of digital fashion in convergence with the brand’s fortieth anniversary. It will consist of reworked versions of Moschino’s twelve most iconic pieces in collaboration with DressX. Twelve unique, physical NFTs will each hold one of the twelve looks. Instead of selling the physical looks on their site, the ‘digital looks’ will be available to purchase through Moschino and the DressX site.
