UNIVERSITY OF BRIGHTON
The Fashion and Textiles programme at the University of Brighton offers thriving, well-established courses in fashion design, textile design and fashion communication. All our undergraduate degrees combine the development of key creative skills with business experience, an industry placement and a focus on sustainability.
We offer students all the experience needed to enter the business of fashion, whether starting your own company, in collaboration with contemporaries, or working as part of a team within the international fashion brands and design houses.
Students at the University of Brighton are supported by an inspirational team of teaching staff and our former students have forged successful careers across the fashion and textile industries. Some have achieved global recognition through their own design labels, such as Emma Cook, Fred Butler, Eley Kishimoto, Shona Heath and Julien Macdonald OBE, whilst others have become successful at established labels including Aquascutum, Marc Jacobs and McQueen.
