About Me
Hi, I'm VICTOR VARG. WELCOME IN MY WORLD!
Born in Slovakia, I moved to Prague where I attended a three year course of Economy and Management at Economic University. In 2018, I placed 2nd in the contest of the New Fashion Faces organized by BMD by Mercedes-Benz.
Later on, I presented my collection in collaboration with the technological giant Lenovo. After the last show, I moved to Milan to attend a three year course of Fashion design at Istituto Marangoni. During my studies, I have been working at MV Group as a Junior Manager for their new concepts of companies.
INSPIRATION
This collection is a statement. The main impression of this collection is to feel free!
The main element of inspiration in the work is the period of the 70’s and 80’s of the last century. A major source of the inspiration was the city of New York, which was developing very fast at the time. New York is a city of different aromas and flavors. There is the diversity of immigrants and the desire for dreams come true. Actors, bankers, fashion designers, artists, photographers, dancers, singers - New York is full of them and creates an amazing inspiring space.
Modern tall buildings, museums, theaters, street art and parks are all in perfect harmony. Bars, exhibitions, underground gay club scene, BDSM and queer combined with Wall Street. Synergy. The inspiration for this collection is Nicky Lauda, an Austrian Formula 1 racer. A man who is a great inspiration thanks to his personal story, determination and fighting spirit. Despite the unfavorable fate, he continued.

Combination of graffiti prints with hand made embroidery.
The use of hand embroidery as an element of connecting rivers represents uniting nations and a multicultural world. For prints, more distinctive designs were chosen, inspired by the speed of time, energy and street art.
