Hi, i'm Rimini a Undergraduate from Norwich University Of The Arts

Rimini is a fashion communicator focusing on creative content creating and styling. Her work is heavily inspired by 90s music, fashion and culture whilst drawn to pushing creative boundaries. Throughout her final year she has demonstrated videography and directive skills used combining modern day influences as well as 90s cultural inspiration.

Moving forward she hopes to create a successful portfolio while developing a career in styling or social media content creating. Social media quickly becoming the most common use of communication to a wider audience, expanding on the skills she has already developed creating still and moving images. Inspired by her interest in 90s music, fashion and culture combined with modern lifestyles and trends relatable to an audience aged 21-26.

Using 90s music and fashion complained with modern day lifestyles and trends targeted to an audience aged between 21-26. Taking inspiration from 90s oversized clothing empowering women to wear typically manly fits turned sexy, combing comfort and style. Creating relatable content means looking into what people want to see and react positive to which was street wear and affordable environments for said age group.

Digital moving image used to keep the interest of listeners to Imoni music

This digital GIF was used to play on Spotify when audiences are listening to Imoni’s song Energy to keep the interaction between Imoni and her audience. Imoni is a 25year old mixed English, Nigerian singer song written based Essex/ London area who is breaking into the industry with a new sound combining R&B lyrical flows with Hip-Hop sounds. As a new artist it’s key for the brand to keep people interested and stand out against the competition constantly keeping up with the latest trends. Using blue and pink studio lights amped in Lightroom to create a controlled colour, taken into apps to create a glitch effect on repeat for a new creative outcome. The GIF would be an extension of Imoni's brand identity continuing with her colour pallet and style, helping the audience to recognise her and build a stronger brand image for her to be recognised for. This developed social media skills and knowledge understanding what is needed to stand out and keep up to date with trends for a job in social media creating.
