About Me

I'm Jingsha, a fashion student graduate from Cardiff Met.

An active and hardworking women’s clothing designer who is curious about developing design concepts and new technologies. I am able to absorb many different influences, which allows me to broaden my design scope to adapt to different aesthetics. I always like to focus on designs that reflect life and nature.

Nature and current social events often inspire me to develop different designs. Adobe always promotes my exploration and development of innovation. I aspire to improve my 3D development and digital design skills and always maintain a positive attitude towards deep exposure to particularly advanced technological materials.

INSPIRATION

The story behind the song 'Womxnly' gave me the initial inspiration to discuss gender discrimination

In life, there are always countless seemingly attractive pursuits. However, in reality, achieving the goals of "men should not dress like women" and "women should not dress sexy and bold" is not easy. These people have been criticized by many in society for bravely expressing themselves. Just like a beautiful and dazzling rose, it should have received more praise but was casually criticized by the world as too outstanding.

Gender discrimination is widespread in society, not only limited to men but also very common from the perspective of women. However, this issue is not short-term. What I want to express is that everyone has a different and unique understanding of beauty. They have the right to showcase beauty and confidence in their own way, and no one has the right or stance to criticize them. There is no right or wrong in beauty.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

I have been creative on developing roses of two final looks

Roses influence my collection ideas. I want to create some unique designs. I have been creative in the development and design of the flowers on the garments. I used fabrics of different colours and materials for splicing and manually sewn them. This makes my garments look more interesting, and bold colour combinations can better capture people's attention.

“I think masculinity is also a figure of beauty. You can be as beautiful as you want, whether male or female. I want to create costumes that make you free to be yourself. ” - Alessandro Miche
