About Me

My name is Aliénor, and I'm fashion student in Lisaa mode in Paris.

My dreams and desire have always been too big for reality. An irrepressible need to escape through beauty, eccentricity, and imaginary. This, I tried to create my own world, straddle on dreams and history.

Attract by art and culture since I am a little girl, my curiosity was feed(nourished) thanks to my parents, who were taking me discovering heritage cultural of the different country all around Europe. Thereby I took an STD2A bachelor's in Nancy, where how to develop my creativity. When I arrived in fashion school, I am discovering myself a passion for model-making and design textiles. As ambitious as meticulous, I'm making an honor point to express my creativity without losing touch with technical constraints in finish work as much as a beautiful work mixing textile and well-made pattern.

INSPIRATION

I often was haunted by past ghosts that didn't belong to me

In this way, my work was nourished from a tortured imagination, taking acidulous colors and delirious shapes. It also expands with as many cultural, historical, or social inspirations, trying to inscribe my work in the spirit of times. At only 11 years old, I was discovering that my great-grandfather gassed dead in Auschwitz. Here of what my collection "47" is born. An uncontrollable need to draw my nightmare as much as the one to sketch the shape of the dead present in it.

That is why I couldn't do it with the expected shapes or primary colors range. I wanted to treat Holocaust differently in order to suggest a new graphic identity and wishing to settle with the pieces already dealing with the subject. That way, my silhouettes were provided with oversized shoulders, my coats multiply, print pattern gathers, swear, and oppose. Every outfit has its own names, the one of a deportee, some I had the chance to meet. This way, clothes are inspired by their history.

MY WORK

PORTFOLIOS

DETAIL

Since I was a little girl I have been collecting old jewellery that I now embroider on my clothes.

Over the years, I developed a singular and original style by improving a strong graphic identity. I'm very sensitive to ornament textiles richly, to super colored fabric, to excentric cut, to delirious shapes, to qualitative haute couture. Firstly, I realize an essential pattern-making work to transcribe in the best way my figure sketch before enriching my work by hand-made embroidery, painting, or print textiles of my paintings and drawings that I did. I'm taking into account my clothes' ecologically responsible dimension using a tablecloth, old garments, salvage jewelry, or second hand to conceive them. Here I evoke through the jewels the memory of the departed, as if they were all that remained of them. Forever frozen in time, passing through the ages intact and unchanged.

"I will give them a place in my house and within my walls and a name that shall not perish." EsaĂŻe LVI 5
