RMIT University's Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours) is globally recognised for developing fashion practitioners with highly regarded technical, creative and research capabilities. The program offers a unique and future-forward understanding of fashion underpinned by critical thinking and challenging design expression. Our approach to teaching design focuses on the studio as a dynamic and collaborative design space driven by emergent directions in practice-led research, as well as briefs from leading industry practitioners. RMIT graduates are sought to work in high-profile positions for large-scale organisations around the world. Many also establish their own practices and are famed for challenging and directional approaches to fashion. In 2016 the Honours and Masters fashion design programs at RMIT University were ranked top 17 and 12 in Business of Fashion world fashion education rankings respectively.
