Norwich University of the Arts is a specialist University offering degrees in arts, design and media subjects from a campus in the heart of the city of Norwich. NUA is dedicated to providing practice-based, studio-led, vocational courses supported by contemporary workshops which allow students to enter an exciting and challenging community of artists, designers and makers who share their passions and interests.
The broad portfolio of courses includes BA (Hons) Fashion and MA Fashion.
The BA (Hons) Fashion course balances its focus between creativity and the development of the technical skills needed for a range of employment opportunities within a diverse fashion industry. Students are encouraged to push creative boundaries in producing original design with an emphasis on creative pattern cutting, professional garment construction and couture levels of craftsmanship.
Work-related learning is offered through work placement opportunities within the fashion industry as well as through set projects, competitions and live briefs that engage students in real-world fashion design practices.
