In collaboration with GFW we are looking for the next generation of original thinkers for the chance to be part of the Levi’s® Brand Legacy! We are offering 3 x incredible Graduate Placement Opportunities in Marketing, Merchandising Planning and Tailoring.

For the chance to apply for these opportunities, we would like you to undertake a short brief specific to your chosen discipline.

Successful applicant(s) will need to be available from September 2018 to undertake 1 year full-time employment. All placements are paid; £22,000 per year. Your brief submission should include a copy of your CV.

Graduate Marketing Assistant | Located; London OR Stockholm Office

In this positon you will gain invaluable first-hand experience in delivering the UK Brand Marketing strategy across all media, social and in-store platforms. Alongside this, you will also be given insight into the PR function of the business through working directly with the PR team on key projects. 

The Brief:

Building on what we already do as a brand, how can Levi Strauss & Co. engage with our consumer through the message of sustainability.

We’d like you to develop a fully integrated concept that shows us how we could leverage our sustainability stories to engage the consumer in the UK Market, whilst clearly showing who we are as a brand and what we stand for. For this to be a fully integrated concept it is important that all elements of our brand communications are taken into account, below are a few important channels to consider when bringing your ideas to life:

Market Place Analysis:

What do we already do in the sustainability space? How are other brands talking about sustainability and are we positioned for success?

Media Plans:

What’s the role of paid / earned / owned channels in bringing your ideas to life?

Store Environment:

How does your idea come to life in our Retail/Wholesale/Ecommerce distribution network?

Graduate Tailor Assistant | Located; London HQ & Levi’s® Flagship Tailor Shop

Our Lot 1. Made to order service captures the essence of craftsmanship at its very best and for our customers it means having their very own piece of Levi’s® history – a custom made pair of jeans, created to their exact specification. Since launching in 2013 our Master Tailor and her team have been busy creating bespoke jeans for customers all over the world. This is an opportunity to part of the team where you can showcase your tailoring skills as we continue to grow Lot 1. and in store customisation & alteration services.

The Brief:

‘Make new from the old’

Using Sustainability as your starting point, re-imagine an existing garment (old or new). This can include rip and repair, addition of patches/ cloth pieces, hand embroidery etc.  Perhaps think about what would otherwise be binned at an in-store tailor shops where our most popular services are leg length and tapering.

The physical work should show examples of high level sewing skills - hand or machine and the work should take no longer than 1hour to complete. Please present your work with photos of your garment and  include a 500 word (max) summary of your design concept

Graduate MerchANDISING Planning Assistant | Located; London HQ

We believe in making fact based decisions, so we’re building up our analytics muscle. As Merchandising Planning Assistant you will be turning information into insights as a key member of our merchandising team.  This is the perfect opportunity for someone who gets equally excited about product, market share, and Excel spreadsheets.

The Brief:

 ‘Made of Progress’

Create a business case on how you would build on Levi’s ethical approach to fashion - thinking how you would bring something brilliant to such an iconic brand. Elements to consider would be SWOT analysis on current market through a sustainability lens, distribution plans, potential volume and market share, margin and profitability.
