SUBMISSION:                    This is a collaborative creative pattern cutting competition between Lectra, Graduate Fashion Week and Vivienne Westwood. 100% commitment is required. The competition is open to all BA students from Graduate Fashion Week Member Universities who are on a course showing at GFW18 (if in doubt ask your tutor).

This project will give you the opportunity to research and critically analyse the inspiration behind one of the selected Vivienne Westwood iconic designs and to re-create the piece giving it a modern day twist.

The re-designs selected as finalists will have their garments digitised into the Lectra Modaris 2D and 3D environment to provide style approval before the final garment is produced, reducing the number of samples required and reducing the carbon footprint.
