Submission is a well-executed, stylish, and professionally presented fashion portfolio that demonstrates individual creative identity, whilst communicating thinking process and development from the concept to final ideas.
The portfolio should display a high level of contemporary visual communication, evidence a broad research base that displays the relationship to the ideas, the understanding of future trends, and to include fabric swatches where appropriate.
COMMUNICATIONS encompasses the following pathways:
Thursday 16th May, 18:00 - Deadline for submission, lecturers are to nominate 2 final year students and nominations must be made via the link in the Awards Checklist
Sunday 2nd June 2018 10.00-16.00 - Judging will take place on the university stands. Students are required to be present.
5 students will be shortlisted and announced on the GFW website on the evening of the judging
Wednesday 5th June, at the Graduate Fashion Week Gala Awards Show at 19.30 - 5 shortlisted students will be invited and expected to attend when the winner will be announced
